2012 BC JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

I qualified to play in the BC Junior Championships this year in Robert's Creek on the Sunshine Coast.  It was a great experience.  My goal going into the tournament was to make the cut (top 70), but after day 2 I found myself tied for 26th!  So, I made the cut and then re-set my goals to shoot a total of 300 or better.  But days 3 and 4 weren't as good for me and I struggled with the challenging greens.  Ended up placing 46th (out of 156) with scores of 77, 73, 79, 80.  This was my first 4-day tournament (5 counting the practice round) and it was pretty tough and very exhausting, but lots of fun and an experience I definitely look forward to doing again next year.  So now a few more smaller tournaments before going to Princeton at the end of August for the BC Juvenile Championships.
